Gho$tman

Gho$tman is a dedicated musician/street musik producer from Bri$tol.

In a Gho$tman day everything happens to the sound of musik .

After a switch from previously performing live musik in 2000 to starting from scratch in computer music Gho$tman got working. In 2001 he sent out his very first trak 2 BBC Radio 1 and 1xtra. Tha trak put tha voice of two of bristol's rawest mc's over Gho$tman's bassline-driven garage beats and the resulting trak, "inna", ended up gettin played straight off on BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC OneMusic and ending up on BBC Radio 1.

The trak "inna" led to Gho$tman being interviewed live on BBC Radio 1 with Edith + Colin (Radio 1 deejays) and "inna" was broadcast on BBC Radio 1 nationwide at primetime (6pm).Definitely an achievement for a year's self-taught work.

This was vital affirmation and showed Gho$tman he could catch the groove of a mass audience. From then until now his time has been entirely filled with total dedication in the studio to learning the tricks and techniques required to really contribute to tha dance scene, to lead and not to follow and to guarantee when the time was right he would again come out at the top of the scene.

February this year he decided the time was right, and began to expose the new material. In the following four months he has had a series of brand new tracks take up regular rotation on BBC Radio 1xtra, tha u.k's number 1 urban musik station . He has signed to M.I. Raw label (Tony Portelli's next H+G label venture after the seminal 4Liberty Records) and is currently writing original new work with his artist as well as undertaking remix projekts for major label artists both in Europe and the U.S. One such remix is due for release on the U.S artist Doni 's album, forthcoming on Atlantic Records.

Gho$tman is all about hard work to make his own time-lasting contribution to this culture and musik. It is all absolutely about quality of musik and a deepest respek for the groundbreakers and pioneers of dance culture from chicago house and new york garage thru uk jungle and tha sunday scene to today.

Tha Gho$tman plan is now truly taking effect and has culminated in Gho$tman reclaiming his place on BBC Radio 1, with DJ Mary-Anne Hobbs now on the team and regularly bringing Gho$tman traks to the U.K's biggest national broadcaster.

House and garage is now ready for the Gho$tman.
