With over 30 years heavyweight DJ’ing experience between them, Pappa Demus and Selecta Demo have formed together to bring you ‘TITAN SOUND’.
Coming from a background where drum and bass & hip hop was their forte, they continued to DJ and participate in Bristol 'underground' culture in many ways. Selecta Demo concentrated more on making his stamp on the industry with his graffiti work (being part of the legendary AWOL crew as well as being a standalone artist as 'Demo One') while Pappa Demus spent many years doing a range of things from managing aspiring artists, promoting club-nights and working/managing in nightclubs and record shops.
Now, with a more laid back attitude and a mutual love of a genre that has been with them from the get-go, Pappa Demus and Selecta Demo have come together to share with you their love of Reggae Music.
Reggae has always been an underlying passion and they have now channeled their collective skills into TITAN SOUND, playing a combination of one-drop, roots, revival, digital, ragga and dancehall. Whilst they still respect the hold drum & bass and Hip-hop has in Bristol, the music they now play is for everyone’s enjoyment, after all who can resist a bit of Reggae?
