Spilt Pupil an up and coming British Rapper (hip hop Artist from Bristol UK)

"My mum says I had the eye from day one." That's the response you get from Marcus Antony Forbes when you ask him why he chooses to go by the name, "Spilt Pupil". No he wasn't some disruptive "spilt pupil" at school, he was born with the formation of an elongated iris (Markin) within his eye that fortunately doesn't affect his sight, but blesses him with a cosmetic distinction from other people that often displays him as some superhuman predator. Marcus also finds fondness in the name's relation to perception, and his own perception of the world around him, which he feels strongly influences the ways in which he writes. Born in Bristol, England, Spilt Pupil was immediately introduced to a family of talent. Full of writers, producers and including a father who was once a member of an incredibly famous reggae band, Talisman, whose impact on the British reggae scene was long-lasting and earned them suits alongside the likes of DJ John Peel and even the Rolling Stones!

Spilt Pupil began life as a mere MC at the age of 13, simply experimenting with the flexibility of his mother tongue, English, along with friends and the likes of a currently aspiring producer from Bristol, Ace Alani. Spilt Pupil's talents caused the youth to find himself heaped in recommendations, and one of those turned out to be that of highly regarded London producer Xtra[ordinary], founder of Ching Ching Records.
