Born and bred in Bristol, Shaunny Sosa started out rapping in his cousin's back room in Easton at the age of 15. With a strong line of rap talent in his family, their guidance helped contribute to his self development. By the age of 18, Sosa was known as a hot 16 freestyle rapper who was able to think of hot punchlines and slick metaphores.
Drawing from musical influences such as Jay-Z, Jadakiss and Cam'Ron to name but a few, Shaunny Sosa's lyrical content surrounds his life and environment in Easton, which is most known for drugs and crime. Struggling with these distractions, Sosa was lucky to have the support from family and friends to keep him focussed in music.
Sosa has featured on many well known Hip Hop DVDs in Bristol & Londo and has featured on a number of mixtapes with close friends and artists around Bristol.
He is currently in the middle of making his first solo mixtape which has no title yet, and he has a number of classic hood videos on youtube.
