J.R.O.A.D./JUST REALITY ON A DISC

The J.R.O.A.D. outfit, based in Bath Spa is formally known as "jroad" but now the letters have a meaning which stands for "JUST REALITY ON A DISC". The J.R.O.A.D. movement started off with three members Ashlow, Hibbz & Prozac, but has grown over the years.

In late 2002 the J.R.O.A.D. movement became the first urban Hip Hop firm to establish itself in recent years, which has expanded since with various side off’s. They have also produced the first Mixtape to be sold from Bath City since "DJ Kim" who in now best known for his friendship and work with DJ Diggz (Radio 1xtra).

Due to the J.R.O.A.D. movements lack facilities and personal resources J.R.O.A.D. have struggled to expand there music plans more than most, but surprisingly they still hold top ranks on road in Bath.

After the obstacles life brings the J.R.O.A.D. movement started to take the music business more seriously. For the them 2007 was the start of a revamp and shake up that hopefully by summer this year J.R.O.A.D. material will be available to buy on there new website.

J.R.O.A.D. Mixtapes and an Album is in the pipeline for next year produced by a number of producers. There is a seriousness to there lyical stories and content that is often missed. As an example, ProZac & Hibbz "Laura & Mary" uses these metaphors to describe the relationship with a knife & weed.

The J.R.O.A.D. movement will remain in the music scene for years to come from writing to even teaching you’ll find a J.R.O.A.D. member. Be sure to keep your ears open for this firm as it has a bright future.

The J.R.O.A.D. movement have currently finished working on the first official mixtape "JUST REALITY ON A DISC" VOL:1 (Where words fail, Music speaks), A mixtape with twenty one tracks, which features Ashlow, Hibbz, Prozac, Ess-jay, D Barz, Gimson, L.Woodz & Toby Marsh.

The J.R.O.A.D. movements official mixtape was released in November 2008, which will be followed by solo mixtapes coming from Ashlow - (Along Time Coming), Hibbz - (More Than Words), El Nino - (Da Future) and City - (Bothers From The Hood Vol:2).
