The "Stupendosuly well-named" Ewan Hoozami (Venue Magazine 2008) is a DJ/producer from Bristol. Since taking to the ones and twos he has never yet left a dancefloor intact, with solid technical skills, an ever-expanding arsenal of great records and the temerity to drop anything in the name of a good time.

Ewan is a proper DJ, able to scratch and juggle with the best of 'em, mix all genres like a pro, and collect the best records from any and all eras. Having spent the last 3 years doing anything up to 5 gigs a week, he has become one of the most experienced DJs on the scene, played at the region's best bars and clubs, and has supported some of the world's finest acts.

Since taking to production a little over a year ago, Ewan has quickly built himself a serious reputation as a prodigious beatmaker. With his tunes played on BBC Radio 6, Solid Steel radio, and being championed by the likes of DJ Moneyshot and DJ Cheeba, the variety, originality and texture of his music is being recognized all over the world.

Recently, Ewan has been dropping lots of new material, such as the "It's a Stick up!" mixtape, available at www.postbocks.com/uploads/ewan_hoozami_its_a_stick_up which has had over 2000 downloads worldwide, plus several brand new tracks.
He has also been working hard with new band Syte and The Sound, a live hip-hop/trip-hop act making waves in his native Bristol.

Ewan is a member of one of the Uk's finest funk DJ outfits, Funk From The Trunk, and scratches for Bristol hip-hop crew Mad Method.
