I'm Illusive, a Hip Hop artist from the Southwest UK. I started writing lyrics when I was around 13 on and off until the age of 15. At 16, I released my first project "A Day in the Life Edition 1" which surprisingly managed around 300 downloads from MySpace alone. With a bit more confidence and a continual work rate I improved massively and started my own label Evareal Productions.

After recruiting several other talented artists, graphic designers and producers I decided to release my sophomore mixtape "The Renaissance". I then started working closely with different promoters and distributers and managed to secure several high name collabs for the project without a penny spent. Realising other larger named artists were recognising me and seeing me as a equal, I promoted heavily and managed to rack up 80,000 plays/downloads of "The Renaissance" in the first 2 months of the release.

For "The Renaissance" admittedly I was dumbing my rhymes down and making music I thought others wanted to hear rather than making the music I love. That then birthed "Beast Mode" which is a mixtape that lives up to the title. I showcased the lyricism I've always been capable of writing and matched it with a raw production beginning to end. As of now I'm sticking to the music I want to make and I'm dedicated to bringing real material from start to finish on any song or project I produce.
